Following a decision by the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland, the Governments of Nigeria and Switzerland have agreed on a process to return to Nigeria US$458 million stolen by the late military dictator General Abacha. The Swiss Government has already transferred US$290 million of this amount. The return of these funds is one of the first cases of looted funds actually being repatriated, and can serve as an important international precedent.

UKRAINE TSCHERNOBYL REAKTOR

April 1986 nach einem Experiment ausser Kontrolle geriet und explodierte, aufgenommen am Dienstag, 20. September 2005, anlaesslich der Jounalistenreise von Deza und seco in die Ukraine. Im "Sarkophag", der Stahlhuelle mit Zehntausend Tonnen Blei, Sand, Bor und Ton gefuellt, werden noch bis zu 3000 Roentgen gemessen.
